The 8th Annual NJ Botanical Garden/Skylands Harvest Fest took place on Saturday and Sunday, October 3-4, 2009 in the gorgeous botanical garden in Ringwood State Park (if you haven't been there yet, it's worth the drive!). The weekend got off to a muddy start after heavy rains all day Saturday, but more than 1,000 people came out Sunday to enjoy the phenomenal handmade crafts by our Craftique artisans, plus live country music, Octoberfest food, hayrides, pumpking painting, storytelling, and silly photo ops.

11th Annual Tewksbury Harvest Festival

Held on Saturday, September 276, 2009, the annual Tewksbury Festival drew a crowd of nearly 3,000 people who enjoyed live music by the Bonnie Bowland Band, hayrides, a petting zoo, pumpkin painting, pony rides, and the largest craft show in the event's history, featuring 50 crafters of handmade goods ranging from quilts to wooden pens to baby clothes to fine knits and jewelry. A hot air balloon tried to get up in the air, but the brisk wind just wouldn't allow. Here's hoping for a wind-free festival next year!

This boutique-like fair was the surprise of the craft show season. Held in February--not known for being a big craft month!--the fair attracted hundreds of patrons who shopped till they dropped. We can't wait for more of Virginia Jane's Edibles at a future fair!

Every Craftique fair features boutique-like shopping from fabulous crafters!
